Advanced Stained and Fused Glass

The course takes place over four Saturdays which are spaced out over the term. The course will allow further development of a range of techniques involved in making a piece of stained glass work. This will include researching and producing an original design, using skills in glass cutting, leading, foiling and soldering to produce a finished piece of work. Project work will involve making stained glass pieces of work which could either be fitted into a window space at home or displayed in an outside space. Learners will be encouraged to develop design skills using subject matter and sources of inspiration which have a particular interest to them.
