Business Administration Level 3
Did you know that Gateshead Council can help you get the skills you need to progress?
Workforce Development and Learning Skills are now recruiting council employees to a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship cohort, with very limited spaces available. This apprenticeship is suitable for current employees in most services at Gateshead Council, with a wide variety of administration skills and knowledge covered. It has a proven track record of progressing employees in their career whilst improving their productivity and ways of working.
If you are someone (or you manage someone) who currently undertakes administrative tasks in your day to day role and would like formal work based training which can help progress your career, please get in touch for more information before the places are taken. To hear more about what this apprenticeship could do for you, please watch our interview with Hannah Byrne, a newly promoted Business Support Manager within Children and Families, who has recently completed hers here / above.
The apprenticeship is 12-18 months long and includes face to face learning, online learning and work-related projects. There is also an opportunity to learn brand new skills and knowledge to help you progress when completing off the job training.
The council have been delivering this programme for many years and have moved to an online model. This means that those employees who are working from home can still benefit from this fantastic training.
If you would like more information please contact Lauren Collinson on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0191 433 2336. If you would like to read about other apprenticeships available, and the process behind starting one, please have a look on our apprenticeship intranet page here.
