Events Assistant Apprenticeship Standard Level 3

An Event Assistant Apprenticeship takes approx. 18 months to complete. You will typically work within a team of people in an events company or within the events department of a larger organisation.

What is the Programme Content?

A blend of: • Taught workshops • Tutorials • Self-directed learning and application in a business/hospitality environment • Development of skills, knowledge and behaviours throughout continuous & professional development

Who is it for?

Roles that include: • Supporting a number of event planners or project managers by carrying out a diverse range of tasks necessary to plan, organise and deliver an event

What prior experience and knowledge do I need?

Previous experience is not typically needed, but you should have the right attitude, passion, stamina and commitment to learn. It is a demanding, yet very rewarding environment in which to work. Apprentices without level two or equivalent English and maths will need to achieve these before end point assessment.

How will I be assessed?

Ongoing programme progression will be reviewed with the employer. End Point assessment will include: • Assessment of portfolio of evidence • Presentation of work-based project approach and findings • Professional discussion
