Role and Responsibilities

  • Respond to routine correspondence and enquiries from a range of clients.
  • Front of house operations - reception duties
  • Greeting patients
  • Arranging appointments
  • Contacting patients/services via telephone and email
  • Back office admin; medical filing of patient records
  • Contacting patients about test results
  • Scanning documents
  • Sending files/documents to hospitals and doctors
  • Ordering patient prescriptions
  • Post duties
  • Be well presented at all times
  • Responding to email enquiries
  • Answering telephones and dealing with customer enquiries with an excellent telephone manner
  • Deal with customer contact effectively and efficiently, in line with the firm’s expectations and company ethos
  • Maintain manual and computerised filing systems.
  • Dealing with clients face to face and over the phone to manage cases and communicating information correctly
  • Data entry using computerised systems
  • General office duties (faxing, filing, scanning, photocopying etc.)
  • Other roles and responsibilities where appropriate

Required Qualifications

  • Maths, English and ICT, GCSE Grade A-C / 8-4 or equivalent

Training

  • Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
  • Maths & English level 2 if not already achieved.
  • Appts with apprentice, employer & provider, observations of workplace as well as gathering evidence.
  • Undertake self-assessment in last month of apprenticeship. The self-assessment must be submitted to the end point assessor as a source of evidence to prepare for End Point Assessment which will include a showcase portfolio; a project, employer reference & interview about the portfolio and project.
