As we begin the new academic year, we have started welcoming some of our learners back into the classroom with fantastic results.

We have worked hard to ensure that each of our buildings is COVID-19 safe. We have introduced measures such as one-way corridors, hand sanitising areas, screens, and fewer people in each room. We also require all staff and visitors to wear face coverings and keep two metres away from each other when in corridors and classrooms.

Our pottery learners have found the return to be very enjoyable and we have received some wonderful comments after the first week back:

Big thank you Lindsey for your enthusiasm and hard work to try and get things running as smoothly as possible. Learning curves for everyone. X

Great to be back and a very safe experience. Thanks Lindsey.

Tina – Friday Potter Class

The pottery session at Bensham was really well controlled and the expectations on us were well explained meaning that I felt safe during my first session. I was a little bit apprehensive before I came but am reassured that all is being done to keep us safe.
