Role and Responsibilities
Before and after school clubs, break time activities and clubs, healthy eating programme promotions, support in the classroom, attending and supporting school trips including residential visits, teaching assistant support, organisation of sporting events throughout the year, engagement with parents, community involvement and encouragement, promoting wider sporting opportunities with the school, community promotion of a healthy lifestyle/eating habits and taking part in and organising healthy living week.

Required Skills
excellent communicator, interest in sports and some coaching experience, able to adapt and interact in different audiences, team player, able to use own initiative and a proactive approach to work.
Required Qualifications
Maths, English and ICT, GCSE Grade 4-9 or equivalent
Training
- Level 2 Community Activator Apprenticeship.
- Maths & English level 2 if not already achieved.
- Appts with apprentice, employer & provider, observations of workplace as well as gathering evidence.
- Undertake self-assessment in last month of apprenticeship. The self-assessment must be submitted to the end point assessor as a source of evidence to prepare for End Point Assessment which will include a showcase portfolio; a project, employer reference & interview about the portfolio and project.
