Andrew Potts – Director of KP Simpson Ltd

KP Simpson are a firm of accountants based in Jarrow and have recently undertaken growth by acquisition and they now have a South Shields branch.

They offer a tailored accounting and taxation service to their clients in the SME market, assisting them with their HMRC compliance.

They have twice came runners up in the small accountancy firm of the year award. Although runners up isn’t exactly winners, the winners were much larger firms than KP Simpson and had many different branches in different locations.

We spoke to Andrew Potts, Director of KP Simpson, about how apprentices have benefited his company.

“Over the years, we have helped many young apprentices come through their schemes and grow into fine individuals”, said Andrew.

“We personally look for a well rounded employee who is eager to learn. The apprentices we have taken on have turned into excellent employees and people”.
