At Learning and Skills, we value all our learner’s and we want to make sure you are listened to, respected and feel safe. If you are worried or frightened about something that has happened while attending a Learning and Skills course or at home in your personal life, we are here to help and support you. We will make every effort to ensure all conversations are confidential but on occasion my need to inform our safeguarding team at Gateshead Council depending on the nature of the concern raised. At Learning and Skills all our staff have been trained in dealing with safeguarding concerns, so if you are worried and would rather talk face to face tell your tutor and they will make sure you receive help and support form a specialist member of staff.
