ESOL Learner Awards

Gateshead Council Learning and Skills work with a large number of refugees each year. They come from a range of countries including Ukraine and Syria. We support them with basic everyday English so they can integrate with the residents of Gateshead. It also helps them thrive in the community and secure employment. Our most recent classes passed their exams and we helped them celebrate their hard work and effort with an awards ceremony at the Civic Centre.
