What is the Programme Content?
Incorporating seasonal themes, the course will include wired flowers and foliage using flower paste, hand decorated 2D cutouts and modelling with chocolate or modelling paste. You will discover new techniques and the latest trends in cake decoration.
Who is it for?
Anyone who has a basic to intermediate level of knowledge and experience of sugarcraft and is keen to improve.
What prior experience and knowledge do I need?
Basic experience of working with sugarpaste and or flower or modelling paste or has completed an 'introduction to sugarcraft course.
What materials or equipment do I need to provide?
Learners to provide their own equipment. The course is designed to keep costs to a minimum. No equipment required for first session but bring along any equipment you already have. There is a £48 material charge for 20 weeks.
What materials or equipment do we provide to you?
The tutor will provide templates as required.
How will I be assessed?
This is an accredited course. Your tutor will discuss your individual goals with you and you will be encouraged to develop your skills and techniques in a an informal way. You will record your progress in an Individual Learning Plan.
