What is the Programme Content?
A blend of • Taught workshops • Tutorials • Self-directed learning and application in an employment supported environment You will be developing your Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours throughout and continuous professional development as well as adhering to relevant legislation and regulations.
Who is it for?
This is a graduate level, work-based qualification to develop your skills and knowledge in the workplace. For those working in professional roles providing career development to clients and applying career development theories and models to support clients making realistic and informed decisions in their career journey. e.g Working in educational settings, training organisations, careers and employment services and HR/learning development departments in both the public and private sector.
What prior experience and knowledge do I need?
You must be employed in a role assisting individuals before or during career transitions to develop long and short term career strategies. You should hold a minimum of Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.

How will I be assessed?
Ongoing on programme online assessment and reviews; End point assessment- portfolio of evidence; work-based project; structured interview and employer reference.
Is the programme accredited?
The programme is a nationally recognised apprenticeship certificate. This includes Mandatory completion of the Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development within it.

This equips you to work in Career Development and Guidance in both an employed and self-employed capacity in any part of the sector across the UK and with clients of all ages e.g Schools, Colleges, Universities, National Careers Service, Voluntary and Community Sector, Custodial, Private practice, etc. Progress your role within the careers development profession.
