PLEASE NOTE: Due to restrictions on funding from NTCA learners from the North of Tyne Authority postcodes will need to pay the full cost of programmes at the time of enrolling which will be more than the price quoted in the online directory. This will equate to £6.50 per hour of learning with no concessions available in regard to age or employment status.

Induction with information about the course. Getting to know your laptop, iPad or tablet controls/buttons etc. Keyboard practice. Use the Internet. Understand how to stay safe and secure online. Use the Apps. Download Apps. Send emails.

Anyone who would like to become more confident using a laptop, iPad or tablet.
What prior experience and knowledge do I need?
You do not need any prior experience.
What materials or equipment do I need to provide?
You can use your own laptop, iPad, tablet or a laptop or iPad can be provided by the centre during the course.

A laptop or iPad can be provided during the course if you do not have one. Handouts with step by step instructions are given.

By achievement of your personal and course goals.
