This is a ceramics pottery course for parents/carers and their children to enjoy together. They will be encouraged to work together, building relationships and bonds through a shared interest in creating bespoke ceamic projects. Tutors will encourage creativity and support to develop the child's interests, developing skills, confidence and raising self-esteem and resilience.

What is the Programme Content?
You will learn a range of ceramic techniques while spending time together as a family, where imagination and creative ideas are encouraged and celebrated.
Who is it for?
Parents and children aged 5 to 12 years.
What prior experience and knowledge do I need?
None.
What materials or equipment do I need to provide?
You do not need to bring any specific equipment, but it might be wise to wear old clothing suitable for a pottery environment. We do supply aprons, but you might want to bring your own.
What materials or equipment do we provide to you?
All materials will be supplied, tools, clay and use of the kiln.
How will I be assessed?
Observation, questioning and discussions on the ceramic project.

You can progress to do a qualification in pottery with one of our Awarding Organisations.
