What is the Programme Content?

By the end of this course, you will understand the basic principles of watercolour painting, learn various watercolour techniques such as wet-on-wet, dry brush, and glazing, develop skills in mixing and applying colours enabling you to create a series of watercolour paintings.

Who is it for?

This course is for beginners or those who would like to improve their Watercolour Painting skills.

What prior experience and knowledge do I need?

No prior knowledge is required.

What materials or equipment do I need to provide?

Some basic materials to get you started would be useful but don’t splash out until you’ve been to the first session. Watercolour paints (basic set), Watercolour paper (300gsm) and Brushes (round and flat).

What materials or equipment do we provide to you?

We will provide expert guidance and inspiration. As well as photographs to work from is the sessions.

How will I be assessed?

One to one verbal assessment will be given to help you improve.
